Pediatric Stroke Program

The Pediatric Stroke Program at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Brain Care Institute offers a comprehensive program supported by the Division of Child Neurology and Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery for the quick diagnosis, education, and treatment of strokes in children and their families.

Our experts collaborate with the Neurovascular Center of Excellence at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. If we recognize that you or your child would benefit from neurosurgical intervention, we will work together to design the best treatment plan for your child, teen, or young adult.
