Institutional Review Board (IRB)

The Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the University of Pittsburgh protects the rights and welfare of all human subjects who have been recruited to participate in research activities. The IRB encompasses all human research studies at the University of Pittsburgh and all UPMC facilities, including Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
