Dietary Patterns and Nutritional Intake of Young Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders

This study examines the dietary habits and nutritional intake of young children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) compared to young children with no evidence of ASD.

Candidates
Children with ASD and children free of neurological disorders who achieve typical developmental milestones are eligible for this study. Children with ASD must be diagnosed with autism based on a clinical evaluation with no evidence of a genetic, metabolic or infections etiology for their diagnosis. Candidates must also be free of other mental disorders.
Boys: 24 - 54 months
Girls: 24 - 54 months
