Studies Open for EnrollmentNational Marrow Donor Program Recipient Research Database and Research Sample Repository for Patients Undergoing Unrelated Marrow TransplantsThe purpose of the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) is to study ways to improve unrelated donor transplants and to ensure that all people in need of a transplant have access to the treatment. To pursue this goal, the NMDP will collect demographic and medical information on recipients of an unrelated donor marrow, blood stem cell or cord blood transplant. By collecting and studying the cells and plasma of donors and recipients, researchers may learn more about improving the tissue matching between unrelated donors and their recipients. More than 29,000 individuals have contributed to the NMDP Research Sample Repository. Candidates Requirements Status: Open for Enrollment How to Participate |
