TRIGR: Type 1 Diabetes Study
This study is an international study to determine a possible link between infant nutrition and the development of type 1 diabetes (insulin dependent diabetes).
Candidates
- Pregnant women with type 1 diabetes or whose partner or child has type 1 diabetes
- Does not interfere with the mother’s desire to breast feed
Requirements
- Study requires blood tests
- Study formula provided at no cost
- No cost to participants
Duration: 10 years
