Nikki Naim is enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh Molecular Genetics and Developmental Biology graduate program. Initially trained in microbiology, Nikki received her Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry at Binghamton University. Her prior lab experience coupled with an interest in gene regulation led her to work with C. elegans in the Ghazi lab. She is excited to continue her project in innate immunity and its axis with fertility and aging.
Among her many interests, Nikki enjoys travel, exploring Pittsburgh, and Latin dance.
