Angela Akar, BS, CCRP, has more than 10 years of experience as a clinical research coordinator. She joined the CPROM team from the Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, with an extensive background in cancer research. Working closely with the principal investigator, she coordinates the diverse aspects of our weight management research studies. She is responsible for the day-to-day conduct of studies, including scheduling visits, performance and supervision of data collection at visits, as well as communication with study volunteers to enhance retention.
