Pediatric Plastic Surgery and Cleft-Craniofacial Center Clinical Database and Research Registry

Protocol Description

By establishing this Clinical Database and Research Registry (CDB-RR) researchers from the Division of Pediatric Plastic Surgery and Cleft-Craniofacial Center at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC will be able to identify and recruit patients who might be eligible for future approved research studies. Many advancements in medicine have resulted from research involving the medical record information of patients with a certain disease or condition.

Eligibility Criteria

With parental consent, all pediatric patients seeking treatment through the Division of Pediatric Plastic Surgery and Cleft-Craniofacial Center will be asked to participate in the CDB-RR.
Boys: All ages
Girls: All ages

Requirements

There are no requirements beyond granting permission. The registry will include past, present and future medical record information regarding each patient’s condition, treatment and/or surgery.

Duration: Not applicable
