The purpose of the Sleep Disorders Registry is to collect information about people who are suspected of having or known to have a sleep disorder. Permission to place the participant’s medical record information into the Sleep Disorders Registry will allow researchers to advance the understanding of sleep disorders. The registry will also be used to identify potential subjects for future research studies.
All individuals seen in Children’s Hospital Pediatric Sleep Evaluation Clinic and Laboratory, as well as children that may have, or are known to have a sleep disorder will be asked to participate.
Boys: All ages
Girls: All ages
With permission of the parent/guardian, the participant’s medical record information will be placed in the Sleep Disorders Registry. Through review of the medical record information, a researcher may contact the participant for a future research study directed at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
