Biography Summary

Dianna Ploof, EdD has expertise in pediatric resident education, faculty development, and program development and evaluation. She directs the Lee Bass Community Pediatric Education Network, a network of community pediatric faculty who host residents for their three-years of primary care training. She also co-directs the Bridges pediatric resident mentoring and faculty development program at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. Bridges assures personalized mentoring for residents and offers faculty development in areas of medical education and career development. Dr. Ploof is recognized for her contributions to numerous collaborative efforts and brings her expertise in organizational development and education to a wide range of pediatric education initiatives.
