How to Use Our Site

Navigation Bars

You can navigate through the site by clicking on the navigation bars (nav bars) found along the top, left and bottom of your screen. These nav bars are on all pages of the site.

The site is divided into six main sections found along the left nav bar on the home page and thereafter found along the top of each screen. This top navigation features drop down menus that appear when you run your cursor over the section name. From there you can click on the area you want to view. Visit our sitemap for a breakdown of these sections.

The navigation along the top and bottom of the home page is found along the bottom of all other pages (except for MARS and Special Vision, which are password-protected sections for health care professionals). You can reach these areas from any page in the site.

Text Links

Any text that is blue is a link. By clicking on the blue text you will go to a page containing the information referred to in the text.

Arrow Buttons

You also can make use of the arrows in the upper left corner of this window. Clicking the “back button arrow” (which points to the left) one or more times will take you back through any pages you have visited so far. After using the back button, you may use the forward button arrow (which points to the right) to move forward through pages you have visited. If these arrow buttons are dimmed, it is because you have not visited other pages of the site, or you are on the last page visited.
