Parking in Lawrenceville is available on-campus for all patients and families. There are 1,400 garage parking spaces on campus, the maximum allowed by the city of Pittsburgh.
Valet parking is also available when required. If you need valet services, please enter the main drive entrance on 45th Street.
The Mid-Campus Garage on 45th Street is the primary parking facility for inpatient families and visitors. Protected walkways take visitors from the garage to the hospital's first floor and to the Transformation Corridor to the Welcome Center. The garage can be entered from 44th Street or 45th Street.

From 45th St: Head up the ramp, make a slight right and then turn left. Charge station is on the left inner wall.
From 44th St: Drive past HOV parking area, turn left to go up ramp.
The Penn Garage, primarily for outpatient family and emergency parking, offers convenient underground parking spaces. Visitors using this garage have easy access from 44th Street. The grape elevators take you directly from the garage to outpatient services on floors 1 to 4.

Pay stations are conveniently located at the entrance to the Transformation Corridor by the Mid-Campus Garage and by the Grape elevators on the parking levels in the Penn Garage. The pay stations accept cash and credit cards. Debit cards are not accepted.
The cashier on Floor 1 near the Welcome/Information Center should be used only to pay for valet parking or to purchase inpatient parking passes. After the Welcome/Information Center closes at 10:30 p.m., visitors paying for valet parking should be directed to the Public Safety Desk in the Emergency Department, which is staffed 24/7.
