Beginning in summer 2026, UPMC Children’s Specialty Services will offer pediatric rheumatology services right here in Lancaster.
A rheumatologist evaluates children with symptoms suggestive of an autoimmune/inflammatory disease or musculoskeletal pain. Presenting symptoms may include joint pain, muscle pain, weakness, rash, and fever.
Allergy
Beginning in fall 2026, UPMC Children’s Specialty Services will offer pediatric allergy services in Lancaster. Our pediatric allergy and immunology experts provide comprehensive care, including diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and ongoing management of a wide range of immune system conditions. These include common concerns such as seasonal allergies, asthma, eczema, and hives, as well as more complex conditions like food and drug allergies, eosinophilic esophagitis, and immunodeficiency disorders.
