Ashley burns is amazing
It was a pleasant experience. She was friendly and personable not condescending. There are times when I've asked questions and other providers have been condescending (nurses/nurse aids mainly but sometimes the other providers) when it comes to me questioning vaccinations, possible illnesses why one illness is ruled out versus another. It's like they prefer you to just trust them blindly without any kind of explanation. However, Ashley was wonderful she was kind and created an environment where I felt safe to share my thoughts and concerns.
My son went in for a fever and was diagnosed with the flu and prescribed tamilfu without being tested for the flu. We were given a prescription for the tamiflu and told to use at our discretion. It was very unnerving to be given the prescription and to use it at my discretion without truly knowing if he had the flu or not.
This was our first visit with Ashley, she was fantastic! She never rushed the appointment and she even asked for a second opinion (which I was really impressed by). Overall she was efficient and knowledgeable
Ashley is a wonderful CRNP; personable, knowledgeable and thorough! We have seen her on multiple occasions for both of our girls and couldn't be happier. Glad she joined the CCP Bass Wolfson Cranberry team!
Ashley did a lovely job with my daughter. She has an excellent bedside manner and offered valuable advice to prevent infection spread. She was efficient and friendly. Thank you for your excellent care.
She was thorough and listened to what I had to say. She explained aftercare instructions as well as antibiotics. She even faced our scripts to our pharmacy so that it was ready when I got there. Great experience overall!
She always has the best interest in my daughter. She takes her medical condition into consideration when making decisions, looks through her past history, and even the well being of her sibling.
Ashley is always so sweet and kind. You can tell she genuinely loves her job and interacting with children.
Dr. Burns was able to provide care to my son who is starting to understand his choices in making his own medical decisions at age 16 years. Dr. Burns was able to provide a respectful and informative manner that not only provided my son with information and empowerment, but gave me, his mom, the parental reassurance that we are on the same "team" to take care of his medical needs.
Doctor was kind, positive, and listened to us.
This was our second unfortunate experience with this provider. We have trusted our child's healthcare to this practice for the past 4.5 years and have always received exemplary care from multiple providers in the practice. This provider is incompetent to the point of dangerous and has forced us to consider other pediatric practices.
This was a walk-in appointment
This appointment felt very rushed. I felt like I didn't have enough time to talk about my child's symptoms. as soon as Ms. Burns saw my child's red throat she rushed out of the room for a strep test. My child was nervous about the test and I felt as if Ms. Burns was a bit impatient and not very empathetic. Ms. Burns also dropped a throat stick on the floor then picked it up to use. I asked her to please get another one and that I realized it was wrapped but now her hands and the wrapping were contaminated with the dirt from the floor. she gave me a look as if she were paying for those sticks with her own money! I didn't feel as though the course of treatment was right for my child considering her history. I told Ms. Burns I didn't feel it was right. She said she knew my daughter's history so I asked her what it was. Ms. Burns could not say a word. she had absolutely no idea of my daughter's medical history yet she claimed she did. I would absolutely never want this provider again.
I felt the provider was very helpful and gave me good tips.
The doctor was very thorough in explaining what she was doing and was very patient with my son!
Everyone at this office is super helpful and great with both of my children!
Ashley was very attentive and listened to my daughter
Ashley is awesome! Love a new young doctor! She remembered our family from a previous visit with another child so she immediately connected to us walking into the room. Will totally ask for her again!
Ashley was quick to see my son when a problem came up and was quick and thorough in her exam. She gave detailed instructions, answered questions, and followed up with us. Everything was done quickly, efficiently, and with great care. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or better provider during a hard time!
Ashley was amazing in explaining safe and healthy driving suggestions to my son in preparation to receive his driver's permit.
I think the appointment was rushed. Ashley talked very fast and then was done. I was still left a little confused and with questions. She was very good with my daughter, but again very rushed. I would, personally, not see this provider again.
very thorough and thoughtful doctor
Excellent experience as always. very grateful for courteous and knowledgeable staff and for getting in to see the doctor very quickly. thank you all!
Ashley was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly, informative, had great listening skills, and explained everything thoroughly.
I was very pleased with my daughter's visit. The provider knew we were going out of town so she was accommodating to make sure my daughter got the possible best care.
I was very impressed with Ashley and will definitely request her again. She was very warm and welcoming, great with our daughter, and explained things in a very easy to understand way. I can tell that she took my input seriously and valued my observations and intuition as a mom. She was also confident in her decisions and make the appointment easy. Thanks for a great visit Ashley!
i have struggled the last few yrs here bc of poor experiences. this has changed my mind. ashley was phenomenal!! and knowledgable!!
The provider was very kind and nice. My child had strep throat and unfortunately the rapid test came back negative so he was not given antibiotics at the appointment. As a mother and someone who has seen my child with this condition and someone who frequently gets this condition I knew that he had strep throat. I was told if the longer test came back negative we would not be contacted, but if the results were positive we would be contacted on Friday by 1. Friday came and one o'clock came and went with no phone call. My son claimed he was feeling better so we let him go with friends for the day. Finally at 4:30 we were contacted that he had strep. At that point he had spent two days sick and now would need to be away from people for another 24 hours and he had possibly infected everyone he was around. I know that if the rapid comes back negative providers are not supposed to give antibiotics but it would be nice if it would at least be considered. Although the provider did her job and was very kind I guess I am just requesting consideration for future appointments and perhaps a better medical history review it should have been on his file that he has had this condition in the past.
daughter still having same symptoms, we were already doing recommend treatments, doctor did not offer anything additional, no signs of improvement , concerned how child will do while away
best care provider so nice and comforting
Ashley was great!
Thank you for helping us today!
