He was very thorough, kind, and provided answers to all of our questions. He met us at he exam room door, that's how quickly he was there and ready to see us.
The health care provider was very accommodating.
he is amazing. very kind and knowledgeable
The staff here at CCC Wexford are professional, prompt, and pleasant!Could nor have been better on any way. We were on time and so were they.
I was really impressed with the amount of time the provider spent with us during our visit. I appreciate the evening hours and that we were not rushed during the check-up. He was very knowledgeable and asked a lot of questions about his development, which I appreciated. He answered all our questions with solid, researched answers.
we just love Dr. John - could have stayed for hours to talk to him!! he makes us feel special and is incredible patient with our questions! our child loves seeing him too! He takes time to make her laugh and his advice was perfect.
Dr. John is a wonderful physician and made us feel like his only patient. Looking forward to seeing him again.
Dr. John is an amazing Doctor! He is very caring and knowledgeable!!
doctor Eric John is the best pediatrician I know & dr john is the best pediatrician I know & have had the pleasure of been treated by. he always listens & gives me his advice with respect to my own as a parent & that means so much to me.
He calmed my fears and emotions with excellent explanations and made us feel at ease.
I alway have good experiences . never occur any negative thoughts.
medical experience/discussion was fine but Dr John's bedside manner leaves much to be desired. I had both kids with me, we were playing I Spy in the exam room to keep them distracted and he comments to me, in front of them, that kids this age are known for changing the answer. (ok, yes, possibly that is an age appropriate action but, mine are actually pretty good with this but how is that relevant or helpful? I'm trying to keep them busy and behaving so why not comment on that?!!!) He asked the youngest if the oldest torments him. He asked the oldest if his brother is irritating and said that's the job of older/younger brothers. All of this goes directly what we're trying to teach the boys about kindness and respect. We're not perfect but hearing this from a person of authority doesn't help our case. He then starts complaining about your computer system and his inability to get in to it. I may have been more sympathetic if he hadn't already irritated me with comments on my kids, who were actually pretty well behaved throughout the visit. If a provider is going to comment to/on the kids in the practice it should he helpful, not hurtful. My kids aren't angels and if you needed to call them out for appropriate behavior in the doctor's office, I'd be okay with that (they were good today) but otherwise, if you don't have something nice to say, keep your mouth shut and definitely don't comment to me in earshot of them. They're bright kids and they know exactly what you're doing. it's rude and disrespectful.
daughter was a new patient. spent a lot of time with us during visit. listened to all my questions. wish there were more doctors like him

Dr. John was very respectful and thorough during our visit.
Dr. John is very friendly and knowledgeable. He made my daughter feel very comfortable during her exam. He was timely and efficient.
We love Dr. John! He explains things clearly and listens closely. I wish he was at the Wexford office more so we could see him regularly!
very friendly and thorough
Wonderful provider, always has been !
Our only concern is that we were told that our daughter could start taking the antibiotics and return to school that same afternoon. She had been running a fever around 101.7. We have to wonder if this sort of advice is contributing to more children getting ill at school more frequently. School policies state that children should stay home from school for 24 hours after starting a medication and also be fever free without ibuprofen/acetaminophen for 24 hours those policies are in place for a reason.
the appointment with Dr. John was the most satisfying and comfortable one I have had since I go there.
above and beyond excellent
Dr. John is by far my favorite UPMC pediatrician that we have been to so far. He is so kind and thorough. I wish we could see him every visit!
He is absolutely the best; extremely helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, and kind. Plus, he took the time to explain everything and really seemed to care genuinely about my son's complete health and well-being.
