Dr Tyler-Kabara is one of the very best doctors in my opinion. I hold her, her diagnosis and, her opinions at the highest reguard.
As this has been an ongoing thing over the years I have never felt more confident that my child is in good hands!
dr Tyler kabara is an excellent surgeon and UPMC is losing one of their finest. She will be missed by many...I'm sure of it. Thank you for all that you do!
excellent care very thorugh listened to our concerns
quick, attentive, knowledgeable
Dr. Tyler-Kabara rocks! She did an amazing job. Thank you very much!!!!!
She was very down to earth and explained everything. She took time with us to discuss my condition and her physician assistant was the same. I would recommend her to anyone that needed a neurosurgeon.
Dr. Tyler-Kabara is exceptional. We greatly appreciate the care she provides and feel she is thorough and highly experienced/skilled at what she does. She also has great bedside manner and makes kids feel comfortable. We are truly grateful!
we love Dr Tyler Kabara. she did a great job with our daughter's surgery and she always answers all of our questions. she has also made lots of time available to us
Excellent care and attention!!!!!!
Dr. Tyler-Kabara is very kind and has a wonderful bedside manner. I feel she listens and throughly explains her concerns and answers.
Dr.Tyler Kabara always spends time with Nathan and talks to him first. We have been seeing her for follow up exams for over 10 years and she has always been patient and thorough along with her team.
The doctor put my mind at ease after seeing the MRI results. We came not sure why all of a sudden a problem came up. We got in quick and made my daughter feel better.
The provider is wonderful and has been my daughter's provider since she was 1 month old and needed a VP shunt. She is very personable, caring and compassionate.
Dr. Tyler-Kabara is the best. We are forever grateful to her for everything she has done for our daughter.
wait time was horrible. our appointment was at 9:45 and we weren't seen until 11:30am
Dr. Tyler-Kabara and the entire Children's staff are excellent, very knowlegable, helpful, and friendly.
Dr. Tyler-Kabara is nothing short of amazing. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
Dr. Kabarra has a way of making you feel very comfortable and very at ease with what you might have going on. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone!
she's awesome couldn't ask for any better
Did not take enough time with my Child or seem to care about my concerns. Yes they didn't have records from my sons other doctor but I was told on the phone that they would do their own testing on him and stuff but never did. I drove 3 hours for a 15 minute appointment where she just talked and didn't look at my son and my concerns. Would not recommend this Hospital. I am very Disappointed
the woman at the check in desk and the staff when checking out were incredibly friendly! the physician was fast and answered all questions! we were very pleased
Everything was good except the wait time, it was an hour past our appointment time.
Dr. Kabara and her staff are wonderful people. She has shown such concern and compassion for our granddaughter. She always explains everything thoroughly to give us a piece of mind. as our granddaughter was a victim of child abuse.
they were great...
The doctor seems very knowledgeable but just a little abrupt--I kind of expect doctors working at Children's to be a little more pleasant but as long as they give good care that is all that matters.
Dr. Tyler-Kabari is an excellent doctor! She has always taken the time with my daughter to explain things. We are so happy that we started coming to UPMC years ago and will not change due to providers like her! We truly love her and she did wonders for our daughter.
We LOVE Dr. Tyler-Kabara, and 100% trust her with our most precious treasure - our children!!
We had a great experience dealing with Neurology at Children's. Dr. Tyler-Kabara was fantastic and the entire staff were amazing. I would highly recommend people to her office.
dr Tyler Kabara is a great doctor but we our appointment time was at 10 am and we didn't leave until 12:30 pm and the doctor was only in there for 10 minutes or less. it's very hard with a 2 year old to wait that long but I understand surgeons could have emergencies. nothing against her because I think she is great
This doctor is excellent!
Dr. Kabara is wonderful. I am so glad she is my son's doctor. She explained things very well. We are very pleased.
The doctor was very kind to our daughter and took the time to answer all of our questions about her health and MRI results. We were pleased with our visit.
The dr. is very efficient and capable. She always knows our history and recognizes us immediately.
While we had a long wait for our appointment, I take this in account that Dr. Tyler Kabera is an amazing doctor and truly cares about her patients and their health. She spent time with us, answered questions and was very respectful to my daughter and myself. She is careful and does not rush you or discount your concerns unlike others @CHP. I would recommend her to anyone who was in need of a neurosurgeon.
The doctor has fantastic bedside manner and is very thorough.
Dr. Taylor was very knowledgeable of my condition. She gave myself and my mom detailed information on next steps and answered all of our questions and concerns.
waiting is way to long I had an 8:00 (which we arrived for at 7:30 as requested by scheduling) and 8:30 routine visit apt, and we were not finished with the doctor until after 11:00I understand emergencies and so thankful the doctors are there to help, just seems like something can be done that a 6 year old does not spend over 3 1/2 hours in the exam room for 2 simple apt where the doctors agreed to just do more testing. I appreciate my doctors and there attention to our child, I just wish there was a way to move along the appointments- less waiting time.
I love the Dr Tyler-Kabara talks to my son during the check-up. She asks him the questions, talks to him about how he is feleing, explains things to him and asked me my comments/feedback at the end only. It's so refreshing to have a health care provider give the child a voice. Thanks!
Very warm, responsible, and knowledgable. I'm really grateful to her for encouraging a consevative approach to managing my injury, as other doctors leapt straight to the option of surgery, which I very much wanted to avoid if possible. She also encouraged me to resume my regular activities, which I'd been missing. She's the perfect balance of funny, professional, brisk, and kind.
Overall it was a pretty good visit. However, I was freaked out a bit about hearing about my possible shunt revision. This really wasn't great as I suffer from extreme anxiety and as a result became sick in the days that followed. (written by my child)
Dr.TK has been nothing short of exceptional through this difficult time. She is a skilled neurosurgeon with a great bedside manner and I feel so blessed to have her on our team
Dr. T-K is God's magician!
knowledgeable and pleasant as always. I wouldn't take my son to anyone else
Dr. Tyler-Kabara is always straight and to the point. She explores all options and keeps her patients top priority and communicates with everyone involved in the child's care. We really appreciate her!
Dr Tyler-Kabara is a wonderful lady.she recalled a prior encounter with my son and was also very informative about tree procedure she's about to perform on him.
Wait time for the appointment was 50 plus minutes. I have a child with low immune system. Not a safe environment for her to be in. The wait at Children's for anything is ridiculous.
it was a really good appointment... staff was very helpful and kind and so were the pa and dr. tyler kabara
