Our Doctor was incredibly attentive as were the nurses. it was so nice that they quickly came right to us to complete the lab work and how gentle they were with my daughter. She loved the stuffed bear!
She talked directly to my almost-3-year-old, which I love and expect of a pediatric provider. it made my daughter feel very trusting of and comfortable with the appointment!
I was very happy with my visit . They were all so nice and helpful .
all good. she gave us the all attention and care we were hoping for.
The provider did not listen to our concerns. She acted like we had no idea what we were talking about. I am no closer to finding relief for my child. She dismissed our concerns. We had to wait 6 months for this appointment and received no answers or help.
Heather is very friendly and seems genuinely interested in my child's overall care.
we did not feel rushed. she talked and asked questions to my son as well.
Everyone was very kind and attentive to my child.
she was wonderful
I think the provider needs to listen to the parent about liquid or pill form medication and not make a decision based on the age of the patient!
The only concern I had was when the nurse was verifying my son's information, his food allergies were not listed and we were at the allergist's office that manages his food allergies.
The dr took the time to listen to my concerns and ordered tests so we could put my concerns to rest. i appreciate her attention to detail when it comes to my child and makes sure we're not missing anything.
Dr Dufer was amazing. She took her time and explained everything to us. Our sons allergies have been a terrifying unknown for us and she helped to cam our nerves and gave us wonderful information on how to control them. She was patient and courteous with my numerous questions and concerns.
Heather was fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone needing help with allergies or immune issues. she spent time and answered all questions. she was professional and never seemed rushed even though I kept her for a long time. she made me feel better about a possible allergic reaction my son had. if we had more providers like her the medical field would excel. thanks Heather!
Doctor was very prompt and friendly. Nurses were excellent with my baby to make him smile and as comfy as possible.
I did not appreciate having to call into this provider's office to review his lab work results and ask what this meant for my child's health. I'd hoped I would be contacted by phone or MyUPMC by the provider to do so, as a business week had passed since the final results had been received.
Heather was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and really walked us through this new phase we are having to enter as we accept the need for our child to carry an epi pen and take control of what he comes in contact with. Really patient and kind with our questions and reassuring to our child. Thank you so much!
Everyone was great! Very patient and attentive!
Felt that a more thorough physical exam and history could have been completed.
we have always had excellent care during any visit we have had to this office
it was easy. my son isn't a very interesting or complicated case so it was simple. only needed a refill.
the provider really seemed to talk to me in a way that was kind and did not dismiss my concerns. she genuinely seemed to care about my child's condition
Very friendly staff. Loved how the lab for bloodwork was on the same floor as immunology and the speed of which labs were drawn were adequate.
Finally finding out what's going on with my child's health (Asthma).
Dr and her staff were very patience to my son.
the provider spent a lot of time explaining my son's allergy to peanuts. when I did not fully understand, she explained it in another way.
Heather was the first provider, after a week's worth of multiple providers, ER visits, and exhausting changes in medical treatments, that treated my daughter as an individual patient. She took the time to go above and beyond her scope of practice to care for my daughter and get her the immediate attention she needed to assure her overall safety. I have the utmost respect for Heather and greatly appreciate not only her medical expertise but also her patient advocacy. It's a lost art in medicine anymore, but Heather is advocating for her patients and should be recognized for it! Thank you!!
we drive 3 hours to see Heather, she's fantastic. she remembers our daughter and cares about her.
