wait time was long but other than that great experience
1rst experience very nice understandable detailed kind sincere
Doctor is very knowledgeable and spent time explaining the medicine changes that he wanted to make for my daughter. It was a little frustrating that we waited in the room to see the doctor for over 45 minutes.
Dr. M. was very kind and thoroughl.
I have never met a pediatric physician that was unwilling to tell you where to turn next. although night terrors usually disappear on their own they can be very trying for the entire family and after getting a very clinical picture of what was going on we were dismissed with a " she'll grow out of it in 4-5 years" answer. so we are now left dealing with the day-day struggles of constant night terrors.
great visit as always, especially nurse Maria.
Waited a long time to be seen.
provider pushed all concerns off onto different doctor after wasting hour of my time
My child has significant mental health issues. this doctor recommended that we see a particular therapist in regards to her sleep issues. She will need to see this person for 6 to 8 visits. He then explained that insurance would likely not cover both her regular mental health therapist and the therapist with a specialty in sleep issues. He never asked if this would be an issue. It is an issue. Also he kept asking my daughter questions and when I tried to speak up to give the correct answers to his questions he didn't want to hear any of it. I can appreciate that he needs her input but she has mental health diagnosis and learning disabilities. He made a diagnosis without all the correct information. Very frustrating
Dr. Muzumdar was fantastic. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He provided clear information, made sure that both my daughter and I understood it, and was super kind and understanding as he spoke to us and reviewed her history/conducted his evaluation.
muzumdar is the best doctor. if he was not there my children would not be going there
all was fine
Dr. Muzumdar was extremely prepared for our visit. My son had a recent illness he was hospitlalized in another state and I submitted information prior to the visit as it was a lengthy summary of past 4 months. The Dr was very supportive and reassuring that he would assist in any way to help us out (even though we had to go to another hospital due to geographic area). I was very grateful for that compassion and offered assistance even though it was children's pgh hospital. We are very appreciative of him.
uncertainty about my child's condition.
He was kind and helpful.
I like my doctor he really seems to care about my condition and me as a person . thank you
In our attempts to determine whether there are physical conditions that underlie our daughter's issues with depression, I receive the impression of the brushoff of the over-reactive mother when in reality I am very much the opposite. My concern that my daughter has seen dramatic swings in her sleep cycles was treated in a dismissive manner and although she is 16, he spoke only to me as if she were not in the room. We both found this to be unprofessional and discourteous. In the instance of the low self-esteem that accompanies depression this is unacceptable behavior--treating a patient as if they are invisible. If the doctor had determined that no sleep study was necessary prior to our visit and that was our request, he should simply have referred us to a sleep psychologist and saved us the 2 months of waiting time, the 45 minute drive and the cost of the visit.
