excellent, very nice
We were able to get an appointment right away on a Saturday.
Prior to this appointment, I was very pleased with CNRP Richey. She remains personable and kind. However, at my son's 4 month well child visit oh, she put an unwashed ungloved hand into my child's mouth. just a few days later my child started having diarrhea. I don't think this is good practice given the time of year especially. at first we thought my son was having a reaction to a first food, but when that reaction hadn't passed in three days it's looking more like stomach virus. because our child is cared for by family in the home and is not taken to public spaces given his age, the likelihood is high that the illness came from his recent visit.
Love the walk-in hours at Children's Bethel, but there can be a real wait on Monday mornings especially - seems like maybe they could staff for that if it's the case every time?
she was very kind and took the time to diagnose and great my sons illness
Melissa always goes above and beyond. We never feel rushed she takes all the time we need to make sure the kids are on track
She was very caring and took the time to discuss my questions.
everyone was helpful and great
We showed up for a sick visit (poison ivy), and did wait for a while in the waiting room, but we expected it. When we were seen, it was fast, friendly and efficient.
We were very pleased with the care we had
she was excellent and very helpful. she knew just what to do and he left feeling great.
love this office. always get in when we need to. they take the time to listen and answer questions. never have to wait long.
my provider spent a good amount of time listening to my concerns and addressed each concern I had separately and thoroughly to help me understand
she really listens to my daughter and is great in how she explains things to her.
I want to take a minute to extend a thank you for the time taken to treat my daughter with respect. The MD took time to put her ease, answer questions, address real topics in her teenage life. She treated the whole person. I was thoroughly impressed with her ability to interact and engage my daughter.
Melissa is excellent. We love her and request her for ALL of our office visits if possible.
Melissa is fantastic!
My children's pediatrician, Melissa Richey, is fabulous. She was able to talk respectfully and openly with my 13 year old son and also be encouraging and honest with my 10 year old daughter.
We have seen Melissa Richey on previous visits and she is fantastic. She is great with the kids as well as the parents. She is super respectful of their privacy and yet asks the tough teenage questions that are a part of the list. All of my children enjoy seeing her as provider. Please thank her for us.
We have always had wonderful experiences at CCP and this was no different. On a busy Monday morning, we were seen fairly quickly and did not feel rushed or hurried in any way.
she has excellent bedside manner and is really good with both adults and children
Melissa is the one provider in the office I like to see she is amazing! I prefer her over the actual doctors she's very knowledgeable and never rushes me and is always pro active if something is concerning me ! I had actually thought about leaving this practice (for multiple reasons) and then Melissa joined them a few years back and that is when I decided to stay!
IT WAS MY FIRST TIME WITH MELISSA. SHE WAS VERY NICE AND MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE. WILL BE REQUESTING HER AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.
i hate when we get Melissa. She is pompous and rarely gets things right. Usually a waste of my time if we get her.
We cannot express our respect and love for Melissa more. She has been caring for our boys since they were babies and she always listens to our questions and concerns then gives amazing advice and direction. She is extremely compassionate and my kids adore her.
Melissa Richey is flippant and condescending.
made you feel comfortable- very good with my child
provider listened well even though it was obvious that I felt silly bringing my child in given the circumstances. diagnosed pneumonia, so I'm glad I did even though he didn't seem "that sick".
The provider was dismissive and didn't seem interested in hearing about my concerns for my child's health issues. Despite a history of ear problems, and common symptoms, she failed to clean out his ears to accurately diagnose an ear infection. Within hours of leaving the physician's office my child was complaining of an ear ache. I took him to the ENT the next day, where he was accurately diagnosed and treated.
wait time to see provider was over 45 min. wait time to receive vaccines was at least another 15 min.
The care provider on this visit did not listen to what we were saying at all with my daughters illness. She insisted there was some other cause for my daughters illness other than medical....stress, anxiety. She didn't listen to what me or my daughter said.
we were her last appointment of the day I overheard her in the hallway state this and say then I'm done! my son had a very red eye that had discharge etc and a sore throat and she basically said she didn't feel it was strep and sent us on our way. I asked her about his eye she said looks like a virus but barely looked at it. I asked her for a school excuse she said I had to go to the front desk (although every time I've ever gone before and after that I was always given from the doctors). I ended bringing my son back 1 day later and turns out he has an ear infection and pink eye. both the nurse and doctor were surprised she did not treat my son at least with eye drops on the initial visit.
Melissa is just wonderfully bright, caring and compassionate. Excellent Provider!
Melissa has such a great amount of information and has truly been an advocate for my son.
This provider had very good bedside manner, listened well, was knowledgeable, and helpfull.
We usually see Dr. Friedlander and he gives a lot of developmental information and this was lacking in this visit with Melissa Richey. This is my second child so that could be the reason but its always nice to get a heads up on what to expect and input on their progress.
Eveeything was excellent! Thank you!
she really listened to my daughter and explained things in a way she could understand. I truly feel as if we are a team
Melissa was wonderful. She listened closely, and was very respectful of my feelings, and provided helpful information.
waited over 1.5 houes to be seen 3 minutes. she barwly checks them then shoos you off this is every time we get her. She usually is wrong with diagnosis also
My daughter absolutely loves Melissa, she cooperated tremendously for her and gave her a huge hug when the visit ended.
wait times were definitely too long. took an hour and 15 minutes to be seen.
fantastic doctor with great personality and rapport with young pre-teens. my kids (twins-boy and girl) loved her. she put them at ease and that's hard when they know they need shots
Melissa was great. She took the time to listen and answer questions. She was patient and helpful. We are happy to have her as our provider.
Dr Ritchey is amazing and we are so blessed to have her.
