It was a great experience. The doctor put my child at ease and answered all of her questions.
Dr. Kegel was extremely patient with us and listened to all our concerns. He knew our child's medical history before we came in and answered all our questions. He was extremely thorough.
He was very helpful and explained things in an easy to understand way.
I had a great experience with Dr. Keggel and the Dr. that assisted him. Both were wonderful & gave me all the information I needed!
Dr Kegel and his Resident/Fellow were excellent. They both spent time with my daughter, patiently explained the ImPact test and answered ALL my questions. They were exemplary in the care they took to reassure my 7 year old and give me and my husband clear explanations about any test results.thank you
Dr. Kegel was informative and welcoming. A great initial visit to starting care, but would like to dive deeper next visit and ask more questions.
Both the Doctor (Kegel) and PA took time to speak with me and my daughter to assess her care. They were compassionate and made sure we had a clear understanding of next steps and treatment. They made my daughter feel very comfortable.
The doctor was really great in every aspect, informative and understanding after my head injury.
We flew in from out of state to see Dr. Kegel for a brain injury/post-concussion syndrome. i was nervous, but Dr. Kegel was very personable and took the time to explain things and answer our questions.
provider addressed some ongoing issues and offered more ideas for treatment.
Doctor K is a godsend. The work done at UPMC is amazing. I wish I went there way sooner than I did.
awesome doctor and amazing staff
good eye contact, nice every day advice about what to do for concussion
Dr K was great, as well as everyone else that I encountered. I barely waited before being taken back for my appointment, which was great. I felt my concerns were listened to & valued.
Dr spent plenty of time talking to me about my sons condition and I appreciate that
Dr. Kegel did a great job caring for my daughter. He answered questions when I called in a timely manner. I would recommend him to anyone I knew that needed care for a concussion.
great experience! took the time to hear and understand my concerns and work through them.
Doctor Kegel was very patient with us and explained aspects of the concussion that I'd no prior knowledge about.
Mt daoyghter ha been under the care of Dr. Kegel for results from a concussion since September 11, 2017 we were referred to him in October 2017. He referred her to an ophthalmologist for vision issues. At this point we are at a stand still in progress and I'm wondering if we should have been referred to a different specialist who may have been able to help more with her recovery and also pain management? She continues to have 2-3 migraines weekly. Missing at least 2 days of school weekly due to migraines.
I did not feel like the doctor or therapist had the time to really look at my medical history for my concussion. I was disappointed with the suggestions for further care that they provided as these are things I am already doing. I felt that the appointment was not taken seriously as my symptoms are different than the traditional concussion and my injury was caused by a motor vehicle accident rather than a sports injury.
great doctor would recommend
Dr Kegel is a knowledgeable doctor who shows interest in his patients and their needs and experiences.
It has been a great experience
dr and staff was excellent
Dr. Nathan Kegel was phenomenal he was very caring and showed true concern for my daughter every time we visited him about her concussion
We were able to see Dr. Kegel the day after my child's head injury since we were existing patients. He made room for us ib the schedule so I did not mind the wait. Hus staff and associates were very professional. Dr. Kegel answered all our questions and made sure we could easily schedule a follow up.
Dr. Nathan Kegel was very helpful with recommendations for my concussion.
doctor kegel was very nice and very helpful
Dr. Kegel was great. He gave very clear instructions to relay to the school, teachers, and coaches, as well as to be followed at home. And, he asked questions of both myself and my child to get a clear picture of how he was feeling and progressing.
rude and didn't listen
always understanding and a good listener.
dr kegel is fantastic
The entire staff treated us with respect and were very attentive to what we needed.
