Came to the exam room in a timely manor. talked to both my son and myself. Made him understand the importance of the topic discussed.
We were giving a same day sick appointment, seen prompt, treated kindly, and my daughter was well taken care of. I couldn't ask for more in a health provider.
everything was a good experience.
very friendly and respectful
After the provider looked in my 3 year olds ear, blood was coming out of it. I said to the provider "his ear is bleeding". The provider handed me a tissue and told me to hold pressure on it. My son was screaming and crying and would not remove his hand from his ear that was bleeding. The provider never looked to see where the blood was coming from, explain what could be the cause, or apologize. I was so mad that I did not address the situation then and there, and I needed to comfort my child. Later that night I was able to clean his ear out but I was not able to get all the blood as it was back to far. So did he scratch him or did his ear drum rupture? I know these things can happen but he should have acknowledged what happened and dealt with it. We will never see this provider again!
I felt like everything I said was dismissed. I will be asking to have it noted that I do not want my children to see him again.
Scott is excellent!!! I can't say enough about what a great job he does.
Scott was excellent with my daughter. she was uneasy about having to get a shot and he made her forget about her worry and have fun
Scott is always courteous and has a great bed side manner. Easy to talk to.
We love seeing Scott! He has patience and talks to my kids on a level they understand. I love that he takes his time, answers all of our questions and doesn't make us feel rushed!
He is great!
The PA was very personable and easy to talk to. I really enjoyed the way he interacted and asked questions to my child. This gave my five year old a sense of autonomy. He asked appropriate questions and completed a thorough assessment.
We have seen this PA a few times now when we've gone in for sick calls. He is excellent with my kids and listening to our concerns. I'm always happy when I know he's the one that is seeing us - very professional!
He was excellent and I am very confident in his care of my child.
I have always had great care provided by Scott for both my sons. He listens to my concerns and takes care of any issues that arise immediately. he has a great attitude and is awesome with the kids.
hes one of the best drs there is. n is always on top of things n looking out for the childs health .
This provider was very personable. He seemed to relate really well to children and made my daughter, who is normally very shy, feel more comfortable. I feel like he spent sufficient time with my daughter and was thorough with his examination. I like to see doctors or PAs not seem rushed when with you and actually show interest and care in what you're saying.
Scott is great! Knowledgeable, relatable, and informative. so understanding and caring.
quick to see us and thorough exam always! kind and listens to what I have to say.
Friendly. Relates well to teen patient.
Scott is always wonderful, attentive and puts my son at ease.
Scott always has a wonderful bedside manner, he is great with my children, and takes time to assess my girls.
provider put me in a panick because he told me my child did not rupture his ear drum and also he didnt know what was wrong. he told me he had never seen an ear like his andbthat he wasn't sure what it was. I was two seconds away from telling him to get someone in there that knew what they were looking at. not very ressuring.
the doctor was sensitive to my child's emotions.
Both Scott and the PA-student, Cale, were friendly and engaging. They both spoke directly to my son (16 yo) and made him feel comfortable and at ease. Actually everyone we encountered in the office was friendly and engaging.
he was very nice and helpful would recommend him to everyone
Scott was interactive and very nice. He was thorough and knew how to speak with my child and get him laughing to enjoy the exam. He was phenomenal
staff is always pleasant and helpful. Scott is both of my son favorite Doctor. He makes them feel comfortable and at ease.
Scott was a wonderful health provider. He was great with my son. Very personable! I hope they keep him around for a long time to come!
Scott and the entire team was great. They truly care about my son's health and wellness.
Scott is a WONDERFUL addition to the team at CCP. He is very knowledgeable and I feel he always listens 100% to any concerns I have regarding my children's health and I always leave the appointment feeling 100% satisfied and confident my children are receiving the best health care possible.
Scott was really good with my daughter and listened to all her needs.
Scott really makes an office visit less stressful. the way he communicates with myself and my 7 year old make the appointment flawless and comforting when we leave. when we left the office my 7 year old told me Scott is the best. best review of all is from the kids
grateful for walk in hours and caring staff
Patient with kids and attentive to their input (medical or otherwise)
Dr. Brandenburg is great and a very good lister
the doctor was very personable. He related well with my daughter, who is normally more reserved. He made her feel very comfortable. He even made her laugh. No small feat.
Child's condition was diagnosed quickly and efficiently. Provider was courteous. Child was comfortable with the visit.
This was our first visit with this doctor in this office. My girls have seen other doctors in this office, but we now wish to be seen only by this doctor. He was kind and polite, listened to our concerns and offered us excellent information regarding our concerns with our daughter. Excellent knowledge & bedside manner. Will recommend.
Scott is always very kind and caring. Great with children but lacks actual "parenting" experience. Textbooks answers are great but not always applicable.
the best dr my sons has has
Excellent provider. He took his time, was very kind, and thorough.
Related a bladder condition as small bladder. Without doing any testing. Would have like to at least seen a blood tests for diabetes, since it runs in family. But was not even asked the question. Did do a culture screen to seed if there was infection.
Scott took his time with my daughter and I. He asked us questions and listened to our answers. He provided a thorough exam and ordered more testing that I thought was appropriate and necessary. The offfice called me with results and provided follow up.
always had good experiences with all doctors and the nurses at ccp altoona
my son really liked this provider. This providers attitude and bedside matter was great! bedside manner is a major deal to us and this man was outstanding. keep up the great work!!
My child absolutely loved this provider. He was very interactive with my son at all times. To this day my son is still telling the jokes that was shared.
overall we really enjoy the services provided by the staff. they are friendly and courteous ..and are always smiling.
Scott is an excellent PA. He listens, shows care and concern for our child and gives us the treatment she needs.
Scott was exceedingly warm, welcoming, and informative during our visit. He answered all my questions clearly, showed empathy and support, and interacted very well with my child. He made the visit fun and relaxed for my child, myself, and my husband. He took time to speak with all of us. When I asked a specific question he hadn't dealt much with, he demonstrated extreme professionalism by seeking out a CCP doctor for more information to assist me during the visit. I requested to see Scott for our next visit.
I will never bring my daughter/ daughters to see him again !
After this visit, I cannot say enough good things about Scott. There were several issues going on with my daughter at the time of our appointment, and he addressed each concern with me. He listened to my questions and answered in a way that I understood. He was very thorough and took his time, making sure my daughter and I both were able to voice concerns about her health. He took everything we said seriously and was in no way dismissive about anything brought up. He also made sure we had information about providers that may benefit my daughter. Last, he requested that I make a follow-up appointment with him so he can make sure everything is going well.
He is condescending and lacks empathy.
Dr. Scott has the best approach to communicating with kids and also relaying important information to parents. We were very pleased with his overall care and highly recommend him to other parents.
a question was asked to the provider and he made it seem as though we were not parenting our child properly. I do not like to be criticized for small things, such as my child using a pacifier at bed time. I am well aware we need to wean her off, but we aren't there yet. I do not appreciate him not responding to our question, but simply restating the same response over and over. This felt very degrading and was not acceptable.
Scott used humor to connect with my child. She is usually timid around new people but she opened up to him.
Scott does an excellent job. He thoroughly examines him, listens to any concerns an communicates great with the parent and child.
The provider gave us a positive experience.
My son loves Scott. We request him.
related well with my child and talked to her not just me
this is the second time we have been with Scott. he is very kind and friendly and makes me feel very confident in what I'm doing daily for my child. being a new mom is scary and he has answered all my questions and given his opinions and advice for everything I have asked. if he was unsure he found out right away.
I felt the doctor was very thorough. Another PA was shadowing him and so he was showing her things about my daughter. When he showed her the scoliosis, he used a heightened voice, almost of excitement, for the severity of her scoliosis. This deeply upset my child. She is already so self conscious and for him to verbally explain the severity to the PA was heartbreaking.
I've had a few bad experiences in the past with a certain doctor. This was the first time we've seen Scott and he was amazing. He will be on my "request list"!
The experience I had with my doctor was helpful, though I told him that months ago I was 5'9 but recently became close to 5'8, and instead of showing concern, the doctor acknowledge that I grew since my last visit despite numerous visits with Primary Health Network saying my height has fluctuated between 5'8 and 5'9.
As a parent, I appreciate Dr. Scott and his kindness to my children and thorough examination of them! He is very gifted in this profession!
Scott is wonderful with the patients. He had a student doctor with him and she did a great job with the examination. I recommend anyone using Scott for an appointment
my child's care provider was very thorough in his exam. he explained everything to me in an easy to understand manner. He was very Kind to my child and sensitive to her needs.
I was happy with Scott's care of my son. However, the day before was his actual physical with Dr. Kerry Baker. I looked at my appointment paper and mistakenly thought our appointment was at 10:15 AM so we arrived for this appointment. When we arrived, the receptionist informedme not very nicely that it was at 10. I explained that I thought it was at 10:15. The doctor refused to see my son. I was very upset by this as I have been coming here for 14 years with 3 kids and have never been late. I could not believe that they were not understanding that I truly thought the appointment was at 10:15. I thought this was very poor customer service and will let all my parent friends know this. I can understand you cannot be late on a routine basis. I think if someone is truly 15 minutes late because of a true mistake, I think some kind of understanding could have been taken. I have waited on doctors there for more than 15 minutes in the past.
I like this provider; however, I never feel like I get answers when I go. My daughter has had a fever with swollen lymph nodes. She shows few other symptoms. I didn't get any answers. I don't feel like providers in this office know their patients. I always feel like a number. Too many patients and too few doctors.
Scott is wonderful! always listens and treats us both with respect. Takes time and is very caring.
vertel knowledgable and kind
My son really like Scott. He & I would both like to only see him or Dr Baker from here on out. These two really listen to my son & are very respectful to him. They genuinely seem to care, and in my opinion, are the best 2 in the office.
Always a professional experience, when seeing any Doctor at this location.
my kids love him.he is very easy to talk to when it comes to talking about whats wrong with my kids or what i need to do for my kids.
I'm always pleased with the time taken with my child. The entire staff is very courteous, down-to-earth, and informative.
Anytime we've seen this doctor he has always been pleasant and alert and concerned for my child
dr was very easy to talk to and explained illness very well and treatment very well.
my son likes having Scott as his PA. He helps him feel at ease and answers and asks questions that he can understand.
Awesome. Hope to see him every time for sick and well visits.
