Likes About UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh: I was drawn to Pittsburgh for the ample clinical, research, and advocacy opportunities available at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. I wanted a fellowship program that would offer me the needed mentorship to advance my career as an independent clinical researcher and innovator in the field of adolescent medicine. In the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children's Hospital, I have found these opportunities and more. As a fellow, I am supported by an outstanding mentorship team that challenges me and continues to build my skills as a clinician and researcher. I was afforded the unique opportunity to pursue a PhD in Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Pittsburgh during my fellowship training for which I have received ample protected educational and research time and generous tuition and research funding support. I am looking forward to continued learning and growth as an advocate for adolescent and young adult health during my time at Children's
