An Interesting Fact About Yourself: I am a twin!

More About Me: I was born and raised in the west suburbs of Chicago, IL. From there, I moved not too far to...Chicago, where I lived for the next eight years for undergrad and med school. I loved that Pittsburgh had many unique neighborhoods, sports' invested culture, great restaurants/bars, and most importantly beautiful scenery. My interview day solidified my interest in this program because of the variety of neuro subspecialties in the department. I loved how close knit and friendly the faculty and fellows were too! The combination of these factors made it clear that Pittsburgh was for me.

Why Did You Choose UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh: I loved how supportive and fun the pediatric PDs and residents were. I also felt that the peds neuro team was large and diverse in sub-speciality representation, but still was a very close knit group. I could see these people being my family for 5 years and beyond!  Pittsburgh also is a vibrant city that I knew I would love living in!
