An Interesting Fact About Yourself: I was a patient at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh when I was a kid.
More About Me: I grew up an hour outside of Pittsburgh, so I spent a lot of time with my family in the city doing things that I love, like attending Broadway musicals, watching Pirates and Steelers games, and seeing concerts and college basketball. This would have made UPMC Children's Hospital my dream residency anyway, but I was fortunate enough that this is also one of the top places to learn in such a supportive environment. I have no doubt that when I am finished with residency, I will have had first-hand experience with a multitude of neurologic conditions. Additionally, I will have learned to think like a neurologist, so I will be prepared to evaluate and manage the conditions that I have not seen. I am enjoying doing all the things in the city that I loved growing up, and it is also fun to explore new things like hiking, kayaking, and other opportunities the city has to offer.
