Research Interests

Nour Gebara, MD, joined the CPROM team in September 2018 as a visiting scholar, mentored by Silva Arslanian, MD. Dr. Gebara has extensive clinical and research experience from the American University of Beirut’s departments of Infectious Diseases, Psychiatry/Sleep Medicine and Pediatric Endocrinology. In addition, she has participated in multiple rotations in the United States, including observerships at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Division of Endocrinology, and MassGeneral Hospital for Children Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Boston. She also performed an elective at the Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, in Cleveland. Dr. Gebara has played a key role in CPROM’s recruitment success for the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute-funded Dyslipidemia of Obesity Intervention in Teenagers (DO-IT) study, allowing for bonus remuneration as a high-enrolling center.
