Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC's Press Room is the place where national and local reporters, editors and writers can get the latest and most expert information on quality pediatric clinical services, groundbreaking biomedical research and educational topics important to children and their families. For more than a century, Children’s has been dedicated to the health and well-being of all children.

From press releases to story ideas, online press kits (with downloadable images) and hot topics that are making news in the healthcare community, reporters have unlimited access to a wealth of information.

Media Team
Children’s Media Team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. To reach a media specialist during office hours, please call 412-692-5016.

After hours, weekends and holidays, call Children’s operators at 412-692-5325 and ask to have the on-call member of the Media Team paged.
