Active Research Projects / Grants
- Genetics (genotype-phenotype correlation in DDH)
Two grants are directed at the long-term follow-up of DDH with a special interest in outcome measures:
- The first grant was 100K with a 20% PI effort awarded by the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation to study the “Long Term Follow-up of Open Reduction Surgery in DDH”. This project has been completed and resulted in three papers, two published in the J Pediatr Ortho and one recently accepted for publication in the same journal.
- The second grant is an award of 419K from the Shrine Research Foundation with a 20% PI effort to study the “Genotype-Phenotype Correlation in DDH”. This grant is in the last year of funding. One paper from this research has been accepted for publication in the J Pediatr Ortho.
