Ronald McDonald House
Description of Services
The Ronald McDonald House is a comfortable 16-room, eight-apartment residence available to patients and their families for a nominal charge. Sleeping, eating, cooking and laundry facilities are available.
The eight apartments are primarily for patients and their families who need to be in the Pittsburgh area for two months or longer, including patients with bone marrow, liver or small bowel transplants and their families.
Referral Requirements
Referrals can be made through the coordinator of the Hospitality Department by calling 412-692-8230. On the weekends if immediate assistance is needed, the social worker on call can assist. Page the social worker through the hospital operator by calling 412-692-5325.
