Street Safety
Safety is very important when you are near a street. Always remember to follow these rules:
- Learn what traffic signs mean.
- Before crossing a street, stop at the curb or edge of the road and never run into the street.
- Look and listen for cars and trucks to the left, then to the right and then to the left again.
- Cross at the street corner and walk in the painted lines if they have them.
- Keep looking while you cross the street.
- Never walk or run between parked cars.
