The Movement Disorders Clinic is heavily involved in research and clinical studies. Currently, the team is focusing on:

  • The neural control of movement
  • New medication protocols for treating movement disorders
  • The intraconnections of brain areas involved in the control of movement
  • How the cerebellum is involved in motor control and the development of dystonia
  • Developing a patient registry, which allows patients to be contacted in the future for research and educational opportunities
