Organ Donor Awareness Activites – April 2017

Join Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC’s Transplant Services and the Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE) as we celebrate the gift of life throughout April to spotlight organ donation and encourage others to register as organ donors. A single organ, tissue, and eye donor has the potential to save eight lives and help more than 50 people. All events are free and open to past and present transplant recipients, living-donors, their loved ones, and hospital staff.

Donate Life T-Shirts

Donate Life T-shirts will be on sale in Children’s Online Store throughout March and April in recognition of Donate Life’s Organ Donor Awareness Month. All proceeds benefit the Patient and Family Assistance Fund through the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation. Staff who purchase a Children’s Hospital Donate Life t-shirt may wear it during work hours every Friday in April. To make a purchase, visit http://upmc.bnr.corpmerchandise.com/DonateLife.
