Organ Donor Awareness Activites – April 2018

Join UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Transplant Services and the Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE) as we celebrate the gift of life throughout April to spotlight organ donation and encourage others to register as organ donors. A single organ, tissue, and eye donor has the potential to save eight lives and help more than 50 people. All events are free and open to past and present transplant recipients, living-donors, their loved ones, and hospital staff.

Donate Life T-Shirts

Donate Life t-shirts will be on sale during the month in recognition of Organ Donor Awareness Month. Employees may purchase the shirts through their Manager or Unit Director or by contacting Bernadette Ali at or 412-692-7140. Cash or payroll deduction will be accepted. All proceeds will be donated to the Patient and Family Assistance Fund through Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation.
