  • Children’s has performed more pediatric liver transplants than any other center in the United States, according to the UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing).
  • At Children’s, the three-year survival rate for pediatric liver transplant patients is 96 percent compared to a national average of 90 percent.
  • Children’s is a leading center for pediatric living-donor liver transplantation, performing 89 living-donor liver transplants from program inception through March 2013.
  • Children's has the largest geographic draw of any other pediatric transplant center in the country (Jan. 2010 to May 2012).
  • Children's has performed more transplants for patients with metabolic disease than any other center, including adult facilities (Jan. 2010 to May 2012).
