Moving Forward

An evening with Woody Roseland, cancer survivor and motivational speaker was held at Gilda's Club in the Strip District. Woody Roseland has burst onto the scene of motivational speaking and is already one of the most compelling motivational speakers of our time. His courage, tenacity and humor highlight his story of overcoming insurmountable odds to beat cancer seven times. To learn more about him, visit

The evening was fun-filled and informational.  It was an opportunity to connect with other survivors. We look forward to more events like this in the future!

National Cancer Survivor Day

Our first picnic at Kennywood Park for National Cancer Survivors Day (NCSD) was held on June 2, 2013. This event was for survivors and their families and friends.

Celebrate Survivorship!

Our first event was a great success! Held on Saturday, Nov 3 at Gilda's Club Western Pa, this event attracted over 200 survivors and their families for a fun-filled day of food, music and getting to know one another.  Our attendees came from as far as Erie and Central Pennsylvania to participate.  Held in partnership with Gilda's, a great resource for those living with cancer, we hope to make this an annual event!
