Packing List

Camp Chihopi
June 14-17, 2013

This is a suggested list of clothing and supplies for camp. Please do not feel that you have to purchase any of the items on this list. It would also be helpful to mark each item with your child’s name or initials. Feel free to improvise and substitute, but please pack the basics! It’s best to pack older towels and clothes. Your children really just need old play clothes and comfortable shoes.

Your child should NOT bring iPods, iPads, cell phones, or electronic games to camp. These valuable items may be misplaced or lost. (Also, there won’t be any time to use them!) It is not necessary to bring money to camp since the facility does not have a camp store. Snacks will be provided several times a day.

On Friday night for the Get-To-Know Activities, all campers are requested to wear their favorite Camp Chihopi T-shirt from a past year. If this is your child’s first year at camp, he/she can wear the 2013 T-shirt given at registration.

The Camp Chihopi campers of 2012 voted for “Super Heroes!” to be the theme for the Camp 2013 party on Sunday night. Although costumes are optional, your child may want to come to the party dressed as his or her favorite super hero from the movies, TV, or of their own imagination. Prizes will be awarded for a variety of categories such as most original costume, best Super Hero costume, most powerful Super Hero and others!
