In 2006, the National Fragile X Foundation organized the majority of the U.S. medical institutions and clinicians that had an emphasis on Fragile X treatment into a “Fragile X Clinical & Research Consortium (FXCRC)”. The National Fragile X Foundation provides its administrative structure, such as meeting planning, material development, publicity and internal communication. Drs. Robyn Filipink and Rebecca Kronk have been active participants in the Consortium since its inception. The consortium members have worked on informative documents arriving at consensus for these documents.
