The Center for Pediatric Research in Obesity and Metabolism (CPROM) is always looking for talented, motivated researchers to join our team.
CPROM is currently recruiting scientists in obesity and metabolism to fill an academic faculty position in the tenure stream at Assistant/Associate Professor rank, commensurate with the candidate’s knowledge, skills and experience. Applicants must have a PhD and/or MD degree.
Researchers will seek to answer essential questions underlying adipocyte biology and beta-cell function in obesity, the role of inflammation, and investigate mechanisms responsible for obesity-associated co-morbidities such as prediabetes and type 2 diabetes, fatty liver disease, sleep apnea, polycystic ovary syndrome, brain functional and structural alterations, neurocognitive function and gene-environment interaction among others.
