While not every illness or injury requires a trip to the emergency room, there are times when emergency services are needed. Our Emergency Department is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You should seek emergency care for life-threatening conditions and other serious medical issues.

For minor illnesses or injuries, UPMC Children's Express Care is the best choice. No appointment is necessary – just walk-in.
All UPMC Children's Express Care locations are closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
