The pediatric experts at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh provide remote medical training and education for physicians and staff around the world to help improve knowledge, skills, and clinical care.

High-definition video conferencing capabilities allow our specialists to develop a training and education program tailored to meet the needs of your hospital or health care facility, wherever you are located. These opportunities include:

  • Remote mock codes
  • Simulation training
  • Case reviews
  • Seminars for post-transplant patient care, critical care medicine, and more.

Children’s tele-education and training program is led by Melinda Fiedor Hamilton, MD, MSc, director of Children’s Pediatric Simulation Center and associate director of the Peter M. Winter Institute for Simulation, Education and Research (WISER).

The Pediatric Simulation Center incorporates life-like simulators and multi-task trainers that allow health care professionals to recognize and manage a wide assortment of pediatric-related medical conditions.

We look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with you for tele-education and training. Allow us to develop a program to meet the needs of your patients and staff.
