Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation Announces New Board Member

PITTSBURGH – Gregory J. Weimer, partner at Confluence Financial Partners, has been appointed to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

Weimer has been supporting clients in the management of their wealth since 1986. His experience led to co-founding Confluence Financial Partners.

Weimer’s career began when he joined Butcher & Singer as a financial advisor. He moved to CNL Securities Corporation in 1989 and to American Funds in 1993, where he became a senior vice president and served on the board of directors.

Weimer is dedicated to giving back to his community and has served as vice chairman of the Washington City Mission, chairing the committee that built The Patriot House, a 22-bed shelter for homeless veterans. He has also recently been nominated for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2019 Man of the Year.

The board of trustees is currently made up of 47 members, led by chair, Clifford Rowe Jr., executive chairman of P. J. Dick-Trumbull-Lindy Paving, who has served on the board since 2011. The current vice chair is Mark Snyder, chairman and CEO of Sylvan, Inc.
