Referral Requirements for Gynecology Services at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh
Referrals are encouraged from primary care physicians or other Children’s Hospital specialty services, however self-referrals are accepted. In any situation in which patients are enrolled in managed care insurance plan, please be aware they may require authorization from the insurance provider and a primary care physician.
