In 2010, our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit received more than $11 million in grant funding for clinical and scientific research, and our Pediatric Neurocritical Care Unit in combination with the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research has one of the largest academic and grant-related programs in the country, and is considered the world leader in the field of Pediatric Brain Injury.
