Department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Providers and Staff

UPMC Children’s Hematology/Oncology staff provide comprehensive, family-focused care for children diagnosed with all kinds of childhood cancer and blood-related diseases. The Hematology/ Oncology team includes highly skilled physicians, psychologists, physicians’ assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, technicians, social workers and child life specialists.

The breadth and depth of the division’s expertise is strengthened by its collaboration with other specialty departments at UPMC Children’s, including Pediatric Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Radiology, Urology, and others. Together, the staff develop individualized treatment plans for each child that are designed to maximize the possibility of curing the child and minimize any potential long-term treatment side effects.
