Teen Look Good...Feel Better

The American Cancer Society's Look Good...Feel Better for Teens is a unique, free program for teenage cancer patients, ages 13–17, that helps them cope with the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. The program addresses the needs of both boys and girls, including tips on skin care, hair and makeup. The program also provides information on nutrition, exercise, fitness and teen social issues.

Flashes of Hope

Flashes of Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer and other life threatening illnesses.  Sessions are held once a month at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh

Beads of Courage®

Beads of Courage® is a resilience-based intervention program designed to support and strengthen the protective resources in children coping with serious illness. Through the program children tell their story using colorful beads as meaningful symbols of courage that commemorate milestones they have achieved along their unique treatment path.
