Family and social needs support is offered through Children's neighborhood based Family Care Connection centers (FCC) that are part of the Allegheny County Family Support network. FCC is a strengths-based family support program that works in partnership with families to meet their needs and help children achieve brighter futures. We provide home visiting and center-based services for infants, children, parents and families. Enrollment is free of charge, voluntary, and the intensity of service depends upon family needs and goals.
We take a holistic approach to family support with a unique combination of staffing that includes a registered nurse, child development specialist, family development specialist, community aide, fatherhood engagement specialist, health coach and a behavioral therapist.
