Meeting twice per year, the Western Pennsylvania Rheumatology & Orthopedic Society (WPROS) meetings invite regional rheumatologists, orthopedists, physical therapists and their staff to engage in an educational seminar where a notable speaker(s) will discuss prevalent issues within their fields.

Walk to Cure Arthritis is our annual community fundraising 5K walk event. The funds raised from the 5K support our nonprofit mission and research aimed at finding a cure for arthritis, America’s leading cause of disability.

These programs are a great experience for the child with JA, their parents or caregivers and siblings. The greatest benefit of these programs is getting to meet others who are dealing with similar issues, who share some of the same feelings, experiences and concerns. It’s a place to exchange ideas, give and receive encouragement, make new friends and know you’re not alone.

Camp Juveniles Reaching Achievement (JRA) is designed to provide quality care, fun activities and opportunities for personal growth, independent functioning and development of leadership skills for children and arthritis and other rheumatic diseases.

Arthritis Expo provides a free opportunity for arthritis patients, caregivers and the general public to access the latest education for diagnosing, treating and managing arthritis diseases.
The annual Bone Bash is a Halloween-themed event that raises funds for the Arthritis Foundation. This costumed affair typically includes spooky decorations, costume contests, a silent auction and/or live auction, and frightfully fun entertainment, including music, games and much more!
