Audiology and Speech Language Pathology

The Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology provides consultation and services related to the identification, assessment, and management of hearing disorders and comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and consultation for children with speech, language, and swallowing/feeding disorders. The Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology is recognized as one of the most outstanding pediatric facilities in the nation.

In addition to comprehensive services, UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh offers full career paths within the Audiology and Speech Pathology fields including clinical fellows for Speech and Audiology, Audiology Assistants-Newborn Screeners, licensed SLP’s and Audiologist, and lead clinician positions.
