How to Enroll in Children’s TiPS

To register by phone, please call Children’s TiPS at 1-844-WPA-TiPS/ 1-844-972-8477. When you call, you will need the following information:

  • Your name
  • Practice name
  • Office manager’s name and contact information

In order to complete enrollment, our team will work with your practice manager to collect additional practice information, such as primary care clinician names and full-time or part-time status of each provider.

We will also work with you to schedule a face-to-face office visit with one of our child and adolescent psychiatrists. During this visit, we can provide additional information about the program, answer questions you may have and discuss expectations. If you call TiPS prior to your practice being formally enrolled, our team will work with you to expedite enrollment.

There is no fee to enroll or participate. Children’s TiPS is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) through the Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and is free for all pediatric providers of psychotropic medications. Supervision of the program is provided by the MCOs, who are contracted with DHS for the Health Choices program.
