Fast Precision Acute Care Expert Diagnosis (Fast PACE Dx)

For patients admitted to the ICU, the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh has started a new protocol that leads to even more personalized care. A blood test called Rapid Whole Genome Sequencing reads through a child’s DNA to look for changes that might be the cause of their current health concerns.
