An afternoon of special memories and friendships await families at our Annual Heart-to-Heart Family Picnic. The picnic is held the Sunday after Labor Day, on a farm east of Monroeville, Pa., owned by the Turner Family.
Here, children meet other children with heart conditions, while families have the opportunity to meet and talk in an informal, relaxed atmosphere. Physicians, staff, and friends of the Heart Institute at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh attend and are available to take questions and offer guidance to kids and their families.
A special thanks to Walt Turner and his family for generously hosting this wonderful annual event since 1979!
This year’s Heart-to-Heart Picnic will follow COVID-19 safety guidelines and regulations. We have reached full capacity for this year's picnic and have closed registration.
