All campers, staff, volunteers, and vendors who attend Camp Chihopi are required by the management of the Emma Kauffman Camp to be fully vaccinated with two vaccines plus at least one booster vaccine (three total vaccines). Vaccine cards will be scanned into the on-line registration forms through CampDocs and will be checked again during camper registration on August 11. There are no exceptions to this policy which is mandated by the Emma Kauffman Camp. Please review this link from the EKC website.
Registration for Camp Chihopi 2022 will be completed through CampDocs.com, a website that offers online registration and an electronic health record system for camps. This system helps organize and review campers’ registration information with health information into a centralized and secure location.
Since this is the first year CampDocs is being used for Camp Chihopi registration, your child’s complete registration and health information will need to be submitted. But if your child returns to camp annually, your information will be saved from the previous year and all you have to do is update the information, such as a change in address or medication dose changes, and re-sign the consent and liability forms.
You can be assured that the security, confidentiality, and privacy of your camper’s personal health information will be protected through the CampDoc.com site which is secure, encrypted, and password protected. Only healthcare staff will have access to camper health information.
To start the registration process, click this link. You will be instructed to open a CampDocs account. After submitting your information, your child will be accepted as a camper, or staff will be accepted into their requested role, and your account will be active. Then submit the requested information and consent sections by completing each registration section as instructed. If you do not have time to complete registration in one sitting, you may save the information you have submitted and return later to finish the process.
CampDocs.com recommends that users upgrade to the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari for the best registration experience.
If you have any questions about the registration process on CampDocs.com, please contact Bev Kosmach at 412-692-6115 or Beverly.Kosmach@chp.edu.
Thanks to the generosity of many donors, a registration fee of $40 is the only cost requested of each camper.
Checks should be made payable to "Camp Chihopi-UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh."
Payment can be made by:
Limited charitable donations are available for families who would benefit from financial assistance to help offset the camp registration fee. Please contact Bev Kosmach to discuss.
